520			_aİnsan ve mekân ilişkisi kapsamında ele alınan yer duygusunun gerçek ve sanal mekanlar üzerinden ele alınmasıyla, sanal gerçeklik teknolojileriyle birlikte yer duygusu bağlamında kullanıcıların mekânsal tercihlerinin incelenmesi bu çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada mekânın kavramsal karşılıkları literatür üzerinden incelenmiş, insan ve mekân ilişkisi algı ve deneyim konularıyla ele alınmıştır. İnsan ve mekân ilişkisi çerçevesinde yer duygusu kavramı incelenmiştir. Mekânsal ilişkilerin ve yer duygusunun teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte incelenmesi ardından, mekânın kavramsal boyutunda ele alınan insanın var olma gayesinin fiziksel mekânlar dışında sanal mekânlar için de tartışılması için araştırmada deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Deney çalışması için kontrol ve deney gruplarının, katılımcıların teknoloji ilgileri ve yetkinlikleri doğrultusunda belirlenmesi ardından yer duygusuna dair mekânsal değerlendirmeleri gerçek ve sanal mekânlar üzerinden karşılaştırılarak incelenmiş, yer duygusunun teknolojiyle ilişkisi gerçek ve sanal iç mekân kurguları üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Nitel ve nicel araştırma yöntemlerinin birlikte kullanıldığı çalışma sonrasında, sanal gerçeklik teknolojileri ile sanal mekân deneyimine katılanların; mekânı fiziksel olarak deneyimleyen gerçek mekân deneyimcilerine kıyasla yer duygusu bağlamında mekânsal tutumlarının daha olumsuz olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.
520			_aThe aim of this study is to examine the spatial preferences of users in the context of sense of place with virtual reality technologies by considering the sense of place over real and virtual spaces within the context of human and space relationship. In this study, the conceptual equivalents of place are examined through literature and the relationship between human and place is discussed in the context of spatial perception and experience. The concept of sense of place is examined within the framework of human and place relationship. After examining the transformation of spatial relationships and sense of place through technological developments, experimental method is used in the research to discuss the purpose of human existence in the conceptual dimension of space for virtual spaces other than physical spaces. After the control and experimental groups were determined according to the technology interests and competencies of the participants, the spatial assessments in the context of sense of place were examined by comparing them with real and virtual spaces, the relationship between the sense of place and technology is discussed through real and virtual interior place fictions. In the study, where qualitative and quantitative research methods were used together, it was observed that the participants' spatial attitudes within the context of sense of place, who experienced virtual place with virtual reality technologies, were more negative compared to participants' attitudes who experienced place physically.
