(s, S) tipli envanter modellerinde s ve S parametrelerinin belirlenmesi kritik bir konudur. Bu çalışmada, teslim süresinin sabit değişken olarak ele alındığı, talebin ve talepler arası geçen sürenin sürekli dağılıma sahip olduğu ve karşılanamayan talebin beklemeye alındığı durumlardaki (s, S) politikası uzun dönemli olarak incelenmekte ve optimal s ile S parametrelerinin hesaplanması amaçlanmaktadır. Yeniden sipariş seviyesi olan s parametresi, ödüllü yenileme süreci ve kalan ömür süreci cinsinden formüle edilmiş ve bu parametre için asimptotik açılım elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca, envanterin tamamlanacağı seviye olan S parametresi, maliyet bileşenleriyle bağlantılı olduğundan, s parametresini girdi olarak alan ortalama maliyet fonksiyonunun minimize edilmesiyle hesaplanmıştır. s parametresinin hesaplanmasına talebin ve talepler arası geçen sürenin varyansının dahil edilmesiyle, S parametresi de benzer şekilde bu değişkenlerin varyansı dikkate alınarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, ilk kez s ve S parametrelerinin hesaplanmasına varyans dahil edilmiş ve mevcut çözümlerden daha kapsamlı sonuçlar veren formüller elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca, yenileme fonksiyonu bilinen Üstel ve Erlang dağılımları olduğu durumda, s ve S parametrelerini hesaplamaya yönelik somut algoritmalar geliştirilmiş; yenileme fonksiyonunun kapalı formunun bulunmadığı Düzgün dağılım için ise yaklaşık hesaplama yapan bir algoritma önerilmiştir. |

Determination of s and S parameters is a critical issue in inventory models of type (s, S). In this study, the long-run behavior of the (sⓜ,S)policy is analyzed under the assumptions of a constant lead time, continuously distributed demand and inter-arrival times, and backordered unmet demand, with the objective of determining the optimal values of the parameters sand S. The parameter s, which expresses the reorder level, is formulated in terms of renewal reward process and residual waiting time process, and an asymptotic expansion for the parameter is obtained. Moreover, the S parameter representing the order-up-to level of inventory is determined by minimizing the average cost function that takes the s parameter as input. By including variance of the demand and inter-arrival time between demands in the s parameter calculation, the parameter S is similarly calculated in a way that takes the variance of these variables into account. In this study, the variance is included in the calculation of the s and S parameters for the first time and the formulas that give more comprehensive results than existing solutions are obtained. In addition, explicit algorithms have been developed to compute the s and S parameters for the Exponential and Erlang distributions, whose renewal functions are known; whereas for the Uniform distribution, whose renewal function does not have a closed form, an approximation algorithm has been proposed. |
