Bu çalışma Klâsik Türk Edebiyatı geleneği içerisinde yer alan mensur bir hikâye külliyatını konu edinmektedir. Üzerinde çalışılan eser, Acâibü'l-me'âsir ve Garâibü'n-nevâdir, Ahmed b. Hemdem Kethüdâzâde (ölm. H. 1042 / M. 1632'den sonra) tarafından yazılmıştır. Eserlerinde Süheylî mahlasını kullanan bu yazar, Mısır'da Divan Kâtipliği yapmış bir Osmanlı bürokratı ve bir Osmanlı tarihçisidir. Acâibü'l-me'âsir ve Garâibü'n-nevâdir'iıı 25' i Türkiye'de ve 5' i yurtdışında olmak üzere 30 nüshası mevcuttur. İstanbul'da 1256 / 1840, 1276 / 1859 tarihlerinde iki defa, 1268 / 1851'de Kahire'de 1882'de Kazan'da olmak üzere toplam 4 defa basılmıştır. Matbu nüshaları Nevâdir-i Süheylî adıyla meşhurdur. Eserin matbu nüshalarının çokluğu, Kazan ve Kahire'de basılmış obuası onun çok okunduğunun bir göstergesidir. Eserin Şemsettin Kudu tarafından yapılan sadeleştirilmiş bir yayını da bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın en temel hedeflerinden birisi, yazarın kaleminden çıkan nüshaya yaklaşmak olmuş ve bu amaçla eserin edisyon kritiği yapılmıştır. Acâibü'l-me'âsir ve Garâibü'n-nevâdir, 31 fasd başlığı anında 204 hikâye içermektedir. Yazan tarafından yapılan bu fasd bölümlemesi, okura okuyacağı hikâyeleri bir tasnif fikri içerisinde algdama, ilgilendiği konu ile ilgili bolümü okuma veya okuyacağı hikâyelerle ilgili bir ilk fikri edinme şansı verir. Eserdeki pek çok fasılda ortak bir motif şeması dikkati çekmektedir. Anlatılacak olan veya çıkarılması istenen şey sürpriz değildir ve olması da istenmez, ustalık iç bezemelerde gizlidir. Hikâyeler bilgi vermek, öğretmek ve model sunmak gibi amaçlarının yanısıra anlatmanın zevki için anlatılmışlardır. |

This dissertation tackles the short story antology in the classical Turkish literature. This prece of work entitled as Acâibü'I-me'âsir ve Garâibö'n-nevâdir, was written by Ahmed b. Ahmed b. Hemdem Kethfidâzâde ( after than 1042 / 1632). The writter so-called Süheylî was an Ottoman politician and historian who served as the Secretariat of Divan in Egypt Acâibü'I-me'âsir ve Garâibü'n-nevâdir has thirty manuscripts five of which are abroad, twebty-five of which are in Turkey. It was published twice in Istanbul in 1256 / 1840 and 1276 / 1859, and in Cairo in 1268 / 1851, and in Kazan in 1882. The printed editions are known as Nevâdir-i Süheylî. The multitude of the printed editions and their being published in Cairo and Kazan indicate that it was commonly read. There is an up-to-date edition of the antology by Şemsettin Kutlu. One of the striking aims of this study is to try to reach the original edition and for this purpose the technique of critical edition has been applied. Acâibü'I-me'âsir ve Garâibü'n-nevâdir has 204 stories subcategorized under 31 parts. This categorization enables readers to perceive the stories in terms of a particular subject and to get the first impression related to the stories. They are interested in. In many categories there is a common motif scheme. The craft lies not in the subject matter but in his dealing with narration. The stories have been depicted not only to enlighten to instruct or to be modelled but also for the pleasure of narration. |
