Dergiler, yayımlandıkları dönemin sosyal, siyasi, ekonomik koşullarının anlaşılmasını sağlayan önemli kaynaklar olduğu gibi sanat ve edebiyat alanlarında yönlendirici konumdadır. Basın yayın faaliyetlerinin kısıtlandığı 1940'lar Türkiye'sinde siyasi otoritenin yayın organı görevini üstlenen Halkevleri dergileri bu noktada öne çıkar. Bu bağlamda Halkevi yayınlarına öncülük eden Ankara Halkevi dergisi Ülkü, 1940'lar edebiyat ortamlarının anlaşılması için başvurulması gereken birincil kaynaklar arasında yer alır. Akademik yayınlara bakıldığında Ülkü'nün sıkça farklı disiplinlerde çalışıldığı fark edilmiş olup ikinci serisinin bibliyografyasının hazırlanmadığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada derginin üç farklı döneminden Ahmet Kutsi Tecer yönetiminde 1941-1946 yılları arasında yayımlanan 126 sayı "Düşünce Dünyası"; sanat, edebiyat, resim ve müzik odağında "Deneme ve Eleştiri"; hikâye, roman, piyes, şiiri kapsayan türler açısından incelenmiştir. İlgili dönemin çalışılmasında siyasi ve toplumsal olaylar edebiyattan bağımsız tutulamayacağı için süreli yayın farklı yönleriyle ele alınmıştır. Bütüncül kavrayışı kolaylaştıracağı düşüncesiyle "Kronolojik İndeks", "Yazar İndeksi" ve "Tür İndeksi" çalışmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Bu araştırma ile Ülkü'nün kendi dönemine çeşitli açılardan etkilerinin ortaya konulması amaçlanmaktadır. |

Magazines are important sources that provide an understanding of the social, political and economic conditions of the period in which they were published, as well as being guides in the fields of art and literature. Especially in 1940s Türkiye, when press and broadcasting activities were restricted, the journals of the People's Houses, which assumed the role of the publication organ of the political authority, stand out at this point. Therefore, Ulkü, the magazine of the Ankara People's House, which pioneered the publications of the People's House, is one of the primary sources for understanding the literary environment of the 1940s. Looking at academic publications, it is noticed that Ulkü is frequently studied in different disciplines, and it is seen that the bibliography of the second series has not been published. In this study, "World of Thought"; "Essays and Criticism" focusing on art, literature, painting and music; and stories, novels, plays and poems are analyzed by limiting the 126 published between 1941 and 1946 under the direction of Ahmet Kutsi Tecer from three different periods of the magazine. Since political and social events cannot be seperated from literature in the analysis of the relevant period, the periodical was analyzed from different aspects. The "Chronological Index", "Author Index" and "Genre Index" were included in the study as they would facilitate a general understanding. Ultimately, it is hoped to understand the effects of Ulkü magazine on its own era. |
