İnsan vücudunun kompleks ve çok yönlü bir parçasını oluşturan el, herhangi bir deformite sonucunda kişinin aktif iş hayatını ve günlük yaşam aktivitelerini etkilemektedir. Aktif iş hayatına dönmek için gerekli rehabilitasyon süreci uzun süreli ve düzenli katılım gerektirmekle birlikte, hastalar tarafından ilgi çekici bulunmamaktadır. Süreç içerisinde reçete edilen egzersiz programlarının klinik olarak kanıtlanmış terapötik faydalarına rağmen, hastaların çoğunluğu tarafından uygulanmamaktadır. Bu durum egzersiz programlarının iyileşmeye olan katkısını sınırlamaktadır. Hastaların egzersiz programlarına düzenli katılımlarını sağlamak için motivasyona ihtiyaçları vardır. Bu çalışmada terapötik egzersizlerin video oyun kumandası özelliği olan egzersiz aleti ile gerçekleştirilmesinin hastaların egzersiz programlarına katılımına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla çok sayıda 2 boyutlu (2B) oyunu kumanda edebilecek bir çift oyun kumandası geliştirilerek hastaların kullanımına sunulmuş ve deneyimleri hakkında görüşleri alınmıştır. Katılımcıların aktivite sırasındaki motivasyon değerleri ortalamanın üstünde çıkmış, katılımcılara reçete edilen egzersiz programlarını uyulmadığı tespit edilmiş ve beyan ettikleri egzersiz miktarı ile kayıt altına alınan egzersiz miktarlarının birbiri ile uyumlu olmadığı görülmüştür. Çalışmanın en büyük sınırlılığı, kullanıcı araştırmasının COVID-19 pandemi sürecinde tamamlanması sebebiyle katılımcı sayısının düşük kalmasıdır. |

The hand that forms complex and versatile part of the human body, affects the active work life and daily life activities of a person as a result of any deformity. As well as the rehabilitation process that essential to return active work life requires long term and regular participation, it is not interesting for the patients. Although clinically proven therapeutic benefits of exercise programs prescribed during process, they are not practiced by most of the patients. This situation limits the contribution of exercise programs to recovery. Patients need motivation to provide regular participation in exercise programs. In this study, the effect of practicing therapeutic exercises with an exercise tool with video game control feature on patients' participation in exercise programs was examined. For this purpose, a pair game controller that capable of controlling large number of 2D games were developed and presented to patients for use, and their opinions about their experiences were taken. The motivation values of participants during the activity were above average, it was determined that the exercise programs which prescribed to the participants are not followed, amount of declared and the amount of recorded exercise were not compatible with each other. The biggest limitation of the study is that the number of participants remains low due to the completion of user research in the COVID-19 pandemic period. |
