Müellifi bilinmeyen Tuhfetü’l-Memlûk ve Umdetü’l-Mülûk isimli bu eser, Memlük Sultânı Kansu Gavri’ye (ö. 922/1516) ithaf edilmiştir. Bu eser yöneticilere yönelik nasihat ve tavsiyeleri ihtiva etmesinin yanında, devleti ve toplumu idare ederken dikkat edilmesi gereken konulara vurgu yapmaktadır. Siyâsetnâme literatüründe yönetici olmanın önem ve değeri çerçevesinde bu eser; çeşitli bilginlerin ve filozofların yöneticilerle ilgili sözleri, İslâm halifelerinin ve selef âlimlerinin yöneticiler hakkındaki görüş ve tavsiyeleri, hükümdarlıkları tarihe mal olmuş şahsiyetlerin siyaset ve devlet idaresi hakkındaki sözleri, hükümdarların devleti yönetirken sahip olması gereken vasıflar ile hükümdarların vezir seçimine dair bazı nasihatlere dair konular hakkında temel bilgiler ortaya koymaktadır. $x $x İslam siyâsetnâme geleneğine dair temsil değeri yüksek bir eser olan Tuhfetü’l-Memlûk, Kansu Gavri’ye ithaf edilen yazma nüshanın tıpkıbasımı ve Türkçe tercümesi ile beraber neşredilmiştir. |
